Triffo Heritage

The Triffo's ancestral home in Bukovina was in the town of Tereblestie, now just north across the border in the Chernivetska Oblast of Ukraine. At least 3 of Kaspar Triffo's children left Bekersdorf, Galicia (now in the Teropilska Oblast of Ukraine), in the late 1700's and became farmers in Tereblestie. One of the these, Anton Triffo, married Dorothea Mueller. They went to Mitoka for some time and then returned to Tereblestie.
